He has completed 5 Half Marathons and 3 Full Marathons.</p> <p>Jason’s running story begins when he was 4 and I was leaving to go run a Half Marathon. I was giving him a kiss goodbye and he started crying. He told me he thought he was running the race too. I bent down and looked in his eyes and said “when you are old enough, you can run with me.” I never expected him to run a marathon.</p> <p>He started running 5k’s with me when he was 9. When he was 10, he started trying to sneak on my long runs and I finally let him. That was the beginning of him running long distance. Since he was running long runs with me, he decided to run a Half Marathon and ran his first at 11.</p> <p>Jason says he started running to spend time with me.
